Installing Amx Modx 1.8.1
Download amxmodx1.8.1
Run and install amx mod to your cstrike directory (metamod included)
Advance Users: “NO NEED TO EDIT liblist.gam”
Restart Your server or Change map amxmodx will start working
After that you will find the directory tree as follows
Cstrike/amxmodx
Cstrike/amxmodx/configs
Cstrike/amxmodx/plugins
Cstrike/amxmodx/dlls
Cstrike/amxmodx/scripts
Cstrike/metamod
Cstrike/metamod/dlls
How to Install plugins?
After that install further plugins by downloading the plugins from here “.amxx” format
Suppose installing plugin named “amx_example.amxx” copy the file and
put “amx_example.amxx” > cstrike/plugins> here
Then goto
cstrike/amxmodx/configs
and open “plugins.ini” in notepad add the file name in last line “amx_example.amxx”
Still having problem installing CONTACT
If plugin is available in .sma format instead of .amxx??
Then goto put “amx_example.sma” in cstrike/amxmodx/scripts
and open compiler.exe(already included) it will then convert the .sma to .amxx
into the “compiled” folder now copy amx_example.amxx and put it in
> cstrike/plugins
